This boutique property located in the heart of Tuscany was just opening to guests and while overseas they had been working with an agency, they had no presence in the US. Using our travel industry contacts and experience as well as our relationships with travel writers, we got to work. We have setup dozens of meetings with travel professionals in key markets ranging from NY to Chicago, Boston and Washington, DC and have worked with travel reporters at influential outlets to gain coverage that includes The Robb Report, Forbes, The Huffington Post, Wine Spectator, Conde Nast Traveler and About.com.
Master Lock Corp.
Part of Fortune Brands, a Fortune 500 company for whom we handled all marketing and public relations for the automotive group and several consumer product groups. We have assisted them with their outreach to national media as well as handled their work with the trades, assisted them with strategic product placements including having their products featured on the Fox television hit series “Glee,” developed television and other broadcast opportunities for programming on networks like TLC and Discovery and provided general counsel for all of their communications and marketing efforts. We’ve arranged to have their products featured in Popular Mechanics in a test against 4 other competing brands that we helped organize…which Master Lock won! We also had them selected as one of the top 100 Most Desirable Items for in WIRED Magazine as well as Men’s Health.
A few years back, this emerging and unique clinically proven calorie burning beverage was trying to crack the functional market without success. We were hired to replace a major NYC agency because they wanted a closer relationship and because we had been highly recommended by several prominent beverage editors. The results? We revamped and re-focused the Celsius message, took the co-founder out on the road for interviews and sampling and earned approximately $11 million in broadcast and print coverage including The Today Show, Extra and coverage in SHAPE in the first six months and another estimated $5 million of publicity online. That resulted in an estimated 80 distributors requesting the product, SuperTarget bringing it into their stores, several industry awards and widespread interest in the product among consumers.
The Diabetes Research Institute
A world-leader in cure-focused research for type 1 diabetes we work with both the DRI Foundation and the research institute to help brand the organization, to cultivate and manage its national health and medical media relationships and with their various major fundraising events around the country. We regularly work with national health and medical reporters from outlets such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and various television news shows including WCBS-TV in New York. Most recently we secured the participation of an international supermodel who now serves as the organization’s International Ambassador (her younger brother has type 1). She is using her Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated fame to bring greater attention to the search for a cure for type 1 diabetes and we filmed two Public Service Announcements (PSA's) that will air shortly.
National Payment Card Association (NPCA)
Is the leader in Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit transactions that is actively changing the payment settlements paradigm and we handle all of their marketing and communications. Launched in 2006, we have helped National Payment Card Association bring their technology/service to market in the petroleum sector and are now working on broadening their reach into the supermarket and chain drug sectors. By the end of 2011, the company was processing nearly $400 million in transactions. We have also helped the company president appear on leading business news broadcasts such as FOX Business News and CNBC.
A nationwide leader in supplying homeowners with gas and general heating products came to us to ask for assistance in developing a Crisis Communications Program for their management team. We provided analysis of their current state of crisis preparedness, assisted them with some local media efforts and provided a general outline and schematic for their crisis team for future operations. We also worked with them to make this program available across the organization and all markets.
A new medical imaging device company that we helped introduce their industry leading vein illumination device to caregivers, healthcare management officials and consumers. We worked with national health and medical media as well as with targeted vertical trades to gain exposure and third party validation for their technology. We helped AccuVein win several prestigious awards in the healthcare field and they have received widespread consumer and trade coverage such as WCBS-TV in New York and online with leading tech sites such as MassDevice.com. Our work has also been used as validation in presentation they have made to potential investors and has helped secure critical funding.
